This past weekend I flew to Oregon to visit Ellen. Ellen Doxey is definitely on my list of top people to meet in this world :) She is pretty dang awesome! (I don't think she realizes just how awesome she is sometimes) She is so creative, and fun to be around. Another thing I love about Ellen is that she is one of the few people who support me in my Diet Coke addiction :)
(That's going to be the topic of my next post)While I was there we went to a fondue restaurant which was AMAZING! We could barely walk afterwards. We also went to the world's largest bookstore- SO COOL. I thought of my sister Abigail the whole time I was there, and how she would go absolutely mad being surrounded by so many awesome books! I found two anatomy books that I'm just so excited about!
Speaking of how cool Ellen is....well there is a reason for that- She has awesome parents! (I didn't get a picture with her dad). They remind me a lot of my parents. They are the kind of parents who are friends with their kids- rather than just parents.
I was lucky enough to see Wendy Wallace while I was there and got a bit of a new look for myself. I love having a hair dresser that I can trust completely! (Wendy is pretty much amazing! and I don't mean that just as a hairdresser) I just sat down and said I wanted a change and I walked out as a short hair blonde! LOVE IT! Before:
