Colourful People

Colourful People. We have colourful people here at BYU. I mean this in terms of colourful personalities. Let me introduce you to the HFAC- The Harris Fine Arts Center- Yup the art building. I can spot an art major a mile away, especially in boys. Art major boys often wear the rolled up jeans with the sailor like shoes, with the button up shirts with the 2 top buttons undone. Right now I am sitting in my Visual Arts Seminar watching a very, very odd video, and I look around and see some colourful people, and I wonder to myself....am I as weird as most art majors? I like to think that I have my head screwed on tight, and I don't have too many lose bolts upstairs...but I am planning on going into art...please be honest with me...I'm not crazy right?
This next boy was not an art major, but he is a prime example of being an interesting person. It was yesterday, and I was heading to the MARB for my biology class..ooo that's another colourful character..my biology teacher, but I'll get back to him, anyways, so I see this boy wearing a coon hat, red plaid shirt, with a sign attached to his shirt that reads "National rabies day". Knowing that it was national rabies day truly changed my outlook on my day.
Back to my biology teacher. HE IS NUTS! that's exactly what he told us the first day of class, and he has completely lived up to his confession. Now picture him...he has round glasses, has a gray mustache, his physique is long and gangly, wears kaki pants, with a bright purple belt, and usually wears a button up plaid shirt. Now he walks with his hands kinda up like a praying mantis, at least this is something he is completely aware of. Despite his oddness I have not fallen asleep in his class yet. Never a dull moment in his class.
So that's my two cents on the colourful people out here in the big city!
