"The Future is as Bright as your Faith"

This is Mr. Worry. This is Mrs. Worry. Oh wait, It is me! I worry a lot. It's quite exhausting. I'm at a cross roads right now, and I have a lot of things to think about. I worry about going to school in June.... and the list goes on. Heck, I worry about worrying! I need to stop this bad habit, but that is easier said than done! Elder Russel M. Nelson gave a really good talk this past General Conference. It was titled "Face the Future with Faith". You can read the entire talk here: http://lds.org/general-conference/2011/04/face-the-future-with-faith?lang=eng
I never connected worry with fear before, but in reality that is what worry is. Worry is fear. Elder Nelson said: "We have great cause for concern. But we do not need to let our fears displace our faith. We can combat those fears by strengthening our faith."

40 And he said unto them.

Why are ye so fearful?

how is it that ye have no faith?

(Mark 4:40)

“I never worry about the future.
It comes soon enough.”
-Albert Einstein

So I'm working on enjoying
these last months
I have at home,and to
stop my worrying!
Worrying never moves
us forward.
If anything it holds us back!

8 Percent Worry

Someone has mathematically calculated that forty percent of our worries will never materialize; thirty percent deal with old decisions that cannot be changed; twelve percent focus on criticism that is mostly untrue; ten percent deal with our health, which only worsens when we worry; and only eight percent are legitimate. The point we would make is that life does have real problems that may be met head-on when we eliminate useless and senseless worry.

J. Spencer Kinard “The Spoken Word”

“My beloved brothers and sisters, fear not. Be of good cheer. The future is as bright as your faith.” 19
-President Thomas S. Monson
